Your issues with the Edward/Bella relationship didn't bug me as much in the first book, but I think I thought it was going to get better. It annoys me that Edward is so angry and just unkind to Bella and Bella is just oh so ok with it, even allowing herself to find fault. That, and I just don't think I can get through the "Edward wants to eat Bella" thing for three books. Maybe I am missing the mark, or maybe Stephenie Meyer just isn't for me. Who knows!
