I agree with you in almost everything on the list, except that I like what Jonathan Safran Foer I have read (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close). I read it after I found out he’s married to Nicole Krauss (History of Love) and lots of people compared their styles. I think they’re quite different, and I like her a lot more, but his was pretty good.
