I don’t necessarily agree that it was terrible for someone to say they couldn’t understand what I was going through. I liked that more than someone saying nothing, and appreciated what they were saying, since I don’t always know what to say, either. The bad thing is that, of course, I think my grief is the worst, the most important, so when someone would say that kind of thing, it could sort of . . . feed that. I guess it’s sort of the same thing she was saying about being inaccessible, though it’s a little different take on it.
