High comedy indeed - I'll go with that. I was just thinking about the overall happiness of the characters. :P But as we all know if there is something I like, it is high comedy!

I would probably feel better about the episode if they hadn't started there. But at this point, I'm so past trying to figure Rory out. [Not like my record at figuring women out is any good.]

I wasn't really thinking about what you said, Geof, but all the negativity I heard did focus on that first scene - "WHY WOULD SHE GET BACK WITH HIM?" And I agree with that, but I guess it was just easier for me to block it out and focus on the rest of the episode, which was pretty good. Also, it seemed like Rory was blocking it out, too, so I was in good company. hehe.

Well, my thought was that Rory and Lorelai going to spy would be high comedy. And then April would show up and see Lorelai and say, "Didn't I see you at my father's diner?" and there would be much awkwardness. And then Luke would yell and Lorelai would be like, "Dude, when were you planning on introducing us?" And then things could actually move forward. I like moving forward. I also like the idea of Rory and Lorelai sneaking around behind displays in Anna's store. hehe.

(Yay post-its!)

Hmmmm, you offer some interesting points. I have to admit the spiders and cricket (maybe) were my favorite parts. I did enjoy the grandparents coming over and Rory taking Michel's post-its. Don't forget the post-its. That was good clean fun! While I do see that it was good that Rory called Lorelai out on her passiveness, I don't know that I agree with the spying. I mean, what good can come from it? I think it could have been funny, but wouldn't Lorelai just be setting herself up for heartache? But I agree that the bantering came back. Yay for the bantering. Did I mention the post-its? :)

I'm still sitting over here, complaining. I'll get over it, I'm sure.
